So for the past 2 years I’ve been documenting my little families’ life through the fantastic platform of Instagram.  I started out using it to just document the mundane day-to-day activities of my kids and slowly it grew into a collection of images the represent  our life.  The inital draw for me was that the images were all taken with my iphone and shared right away- there’s computer work or photoshop or sitting at my desk.  Family and friends could watch my girls grow nearly every day- and those far away could see posts instantly  as things were happening. In the last year it’s become more of a creative outlet- helping me to push my lighting and creativity with the very basics of gear (just a older model iphone). It’s also pushed myself  to grasp a better understanding of light and shadows working with the very minimum.  I’ve also been inspired on a daily basis from other iphonegraphers on the site and I find myself in awe several times each day. It’s become my go-to app on my phone and it truly makes me happy every day. I kept my Instagram private the last couple of years but have decided to open it up and share our life with those who follow my work here. You can follow me at @kelsynielson and share in our adventures on my newsfeed. If you do decide to follow along, don’t be stranger, please leave a comment and say hello! I’d love to see who’s out there in Instagramland.

I’m very happy to share a tiny bit of our life with you. I’m always grateful for the support on my here on my blog, My Facebook page and on my Instagram. I’m so thankful you’re here.

Here’s a glimpse into the last 6 weeks in our life (iphone only Instagram feed images)
