Jamie & Ryan- Edmonton Family Photography

December 17, 2012

Jamie sent me the sweetest email looking for a  family photographer to capture her husband and herself with their two little doggies.  Their adorable pups are definitely their children- Ryan and Bailey are especially joined at the hip 🙂 It was a different type of family photography for me and these four made it one of my favourite sessions of the year. I had been looking forward to using this scouted location for a while and after talking to Jamie about her vision, it all came together perfectly. Lucky us.

This blog wouldn’t be complete without me saying how much I like Jamie and Ryan. I liked Jamie from her first sweet email, and after I met them both I liked them even more. First off, these two are in love. Completely. In. Love. And secondly, they are just two big kids with huge hearts. They know they have been greatly blessed to live the life they are living and are continually giving back. Their newest project, The Ryan Jones Foundation, is truly the start of something beautiful. I loved watching their faces light up as they talked about their goal of impacting the lives of  children suffering with paediatric diseases.  Jamie and Ryan, I know your foundation is going to help so many children and be a blessing to so many families. In a world that sometimes feels like it can be full of tragedies and sadness, it’s people like the two of you that help me remember that there is so much goodness out there. You’re just beautiful people inside and out 🙂

Thank you for helping to make the world a better place . I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to photograph your little family.

Hugs,

Kelsy
