Victoria and Matt were married last month in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. A couple of nights after their wedding we headed to the beach just before sunset for Victoria’s “Trash the Dress” session. I was a little bit nervous since I have only photographed one other TTD session- in 2007, the year I started my business. But Victoria & Matt are super relaxed and fun, so it made it easy. And the gorgeous beach at Dreams Punta Cana Resort was helpful too 🙂 We had some good laughs as they rolled around in the sand and got pushed about by the waves. We also ended up getting a bit of a crowd watching…and congratulating…and snooping…and taking pictures. Victoria’s dress was far from “trashed” by the end, nothing that a little shower rinse couldn’t fix. It ended up being an amazing way to round out our fantastic week in the Caribbean. I’m wishing I was back right now!
