Anita and Jordan had me laughing from the moment I entered the Matrix Hotel. I love their senses of humour and how they play off each other so well. And on top of being funny and sweet they are both just romantics at heart. Definitely my favourite type of people to photograph 🙂 Jordan made everyone a little teary eyed the morning of their wedding by sending over the sweetest letter and gift for Anita. She saw the pretty Anthropologie box and was impressed that he went to one of her favourite stores. Inside was a little turtle jewelry box tied with red ribbon. Then the tears came. The very first time Jordan met Anita she was wearing a Raphael Ninja Turtle Costume and Jordan was smitten from that night on. How sweet is that? Jordan, I already liked you but that little thoughtful gesture was just too adorable. You are a real catch.
Their ceremony was full of stolen glances and laughter as they were married by a family friend at St. Joseph’s Basilica. Bridal party portraits included races up the river valley stair case, tree climbing and (of course) more laughter. Afterwards we had a little snack at Duchess (yum! go now!) and we completed the day with a reception at the Mayfair Golf and Country Club. Anita kept her pink and grey theme through out the day-I loved her attention to details including adorable buttons were that all personalized with a funny nickname or sayings. There was also personalized madlibs for her guests to complete during cocktail hour, a photobooth that didn’t stop and a hip hop dancers to get the party started.
Thank you so much for your kindness and making us feel like we were friends hanging out your wedding day.
You both make my heart very happy.
Hugs,
Kelsy
