My friends Sarah and Dean had their second son last week. I waited patiently at the hospital for the news. I was so sure it was a girl even I brought a present wrapped in pink paper. Well, I was wrong. But Owen is the best surprise I could have hoped for. He is 7 pounds of snuggles and love. There is something so special about holding a baby that’s only minutes old. It’s an experience you don’t forget.
Little Owen, you have been blessed with amazing parents and the best big brother a boy could ask for. It’s an incredible family you have and you are so lucky to be a part of it. You are loved little one, so very very loved.
The first set of images are in the hospital right after Owen was born. He is the newest baby I have ever held. I had never been in the room while a baby was measured and checked out- not even with my own little Violet who was whisked away to the NICU before I could touch her. It was very special to be there to witness such an incredible beginning.
