I always feel lucky to photograph my clients weddings and with Chelsea and Chris getting married in Mexico I totally hit the luck jackpot. 7 days in the sun with a beautiful wedding to top it off is the best possible way to spend a week. We decided to do something a little different with Chelsea and Chris’ wedding portraits and am I ever glad we did. It turned out to be nearly +40 the day of the wedding- much to hot be outside for too long. Going underground was a great way to beat the heat. A few bats in the cave didn’t phase my couple at all…I was the only one jumping like a school girl every time one got too close to my head. After the heat of the day passed we were able to shoot a bit on the beach before enjoying their reception pool side. Amazing memories and so much fun.
I had *such* a hard time narrowing these images down- it’s not every day you get to shoot in a cenote. In the end I decided on a bunch- second guessing myself all the way. Chelsea and Chris I absolutely can not wait to show you the rest!!!
Thanks for an incredible week,
Kelsy (+ Tim+ little Violet)
I just revisited these beautiful pictures, they look like you are movie stars from a professional Holly Wood studio. Very beautiful, graceful and enchanting – may you have many years of love and friendship.
