Devonne and TK were married in a beautiful ceremony at the Rimrock Hotel in Banff. Surrounded by friends and family from around the world they read their own vows and shared their love for each other. It was in true Devonne and TK fashion though- Devonne’s vows were done days (weeks?) before while TK wrote his while getting ready that morning. But both were perfect, heartfelt and made everyone who heard them a little teary. Their four adorable flower girls joined them from three different countries representing how multicultural and unique their wedding truly was. I loved the Canadian and African details in the decor, clothing and favours. It was truly a delight to photograph. One of the highlights of the day was when Devonne and TK entered their reception to the happiest African dance music you could imagine. All of their guests got up and danced with them on the dance floor before the evening even began. It was the perfect start to the party- the mood was set and everyone was smiling.
Devonne and TK, thank you so so much for including me in your wedding plans. I loved getting to know you and hearing your story. You are both some of the kindest people I have ever met- you truly went above and beyond to make sure your guests (and us) enjoyed ourselves at your wedding. Thank you for allowing me to document it. I hope the images show how beautifully in love you both are.
