Our family packed up and headed to Cabo San Lucas for my eldest niece’s wedding this November. I can’t believe I have a niece old enough to be married- I still remember when she was born….so obviously that means I’m getting pretty old 🙂  It was the perfect start to the cold Edmonton winter- great timing for a desintation wedding. It couldn’t have been a better holiday, our girls had a blast with their cousins and aunties  (and uncle!) and we all enjoyed the heat and relaxation. An extended family catamaran snorkel trip was such fun too, wish we were all there now.  The wedding day ended up being a perfect Cabo day full of family, laughter and a few tears.  I loved watching my little Violet take her job of being a flower girl so seriously.  I had to remember to put my camera up when she walked down the isle instead of  tearing up during my proud mom moment. She was pretty darn cute.  Other highlights of the day was watching Derek see his bride for the first time, seeing my sisters set up the reception with such care to detail,  the hilarious trivia/dare game during the reception and all the dancing through the night. Such a great day.
Thanks for having a destination wedding so our family could all enjoy a week together in the sun. Thank you for such great memories.
I wish you both the very best!
