Edmonton Family Photography at Alexander Circle
I love when families approach their session with so much excitement. When I photographed this beautiful family around their local park we had so much fun together. From playing in the fountain at Alexander Circle, to giant cookies and a big snuggle pile, this session really captured this family in their element.
When we plan out your session I love to talk about your favourite places to create natural, relaxed family portraits that speak to you as a family. No stuffy poses or formal studio portraits here. We go off the kid’s energy, giving them freedom to just be kids! If they want to run around, awesome. If they want to just cuddle the entire time, that works too. My job is to create memories as you were, skinned knees, chocolate chip messes and rubber boots included. I promise I’ll document those little moments you know you’ll miss when they’re all grown up. Don’t worry, I’ll also document all the images Grandma wants for her wall too.
It’s almost summer, even though it barely feels like spring outside. What a chilly April Edmonton has had! But either way, summer is still coming! And that means the my schedule is filling up! But there is no perfect season to photograph your family- book what feels like your own ideal month. I’ve created beautiful images in the neutral browns of April, or on a snowy day in December. However, summer is always popular as we can enjoy sprinklers and ice cream and kites and bubbles. What speaks to you? Is your family ready for camping and wants this summer documented? Or do you love the crispness of winter and prefer to have snowy trees for your background next winter? Whatever the season, just send me a message and let’s chat!
