The Roughley’s are an adorable family from Edmonton who I loved photographing in Whitemud Creek this past fall. Gareth and Shauna are two super talented photographers in the city and it’s always a bit intimating to get behind a camera in front of colleagues. We had a great evening playing in the creek. There’s not much better than photographing a family that just wants to play. I love interactive sessions so much! You really get to see the personality of the family you’re photographing. And that’s my favourite part of my job- capturing real memories and real families- just as they are!
