Edmonton Newborn Lifestyle Photography- Baby Kassian
Throughout my photography career I’ve been lucky enough to photograph so many of the Edmonton Oiler players and their growing families. But I often don’t get to share our sessions together on this platform. I am very grateful to the Kassian family for allowing me to share these special moments alone in their Edmonton home with their new baby daughter. The first few weeks with a new baby are hectic and exhausting, and even harder when Dad is on the road with the team half the time. I was able to steal a morning of Zach’s time to create some memories of the beginning of their lives together as a family of three.
Little baby E was a dream to photograph- sweet, sleepy and snuggly. I always like simple when photographing newborn babies. All we really need are a couple of blankets, a onesie or two, a master bedroom with some window light, and a lot of love. There’s no need to run out and buy props or a million outfits, as most of our time together is concentrated on getting portraits of you both loving on your new baby. With all my photography, connection is key. The Kassian family is a perfect example of connection being the real purpose of our shoot together.
