Elise and Kevin were married in a beautiful Catholic country church in the middle of a field outside of Spruce Grove. It was a perfect place for these two small town kids to get married. The day started out perfectly- bright blue sky and nice and warm. Then the summer storm clouds rolled in right as we were finishing up our portraits and we luckily didn’t get a drop on us. They couldn’t have asked for much else for their day- expect maybe wishing that their puppy Cooper was there to join them.
Elise made the day so easy to photograph. Other then being beautiful and completely photogenic, she also spent time driving around the ceremony site finding locations she loved for me for to scout out for their portrait session. I loved her enthusiasm and it was so easy to be excited for her day along with her. They also transformed a simple church hall into a breathtaking reception filled with perfect details, custom cocktails and personalized M&M’s. I think I actually gasped when I walked into their space. It’s awesome seeing your clients visions come to life.
Also have to say thank you to Maria from Love Story Cinema, who put together a same-day edit video that left the reception crowd bawling (myself and my second shooter included). Elise and Kevin have no shortage of memories for their day.
Thank you for such a great day. xoxo
