Emma and Erik- Crescent Falls Engagement Photography

I love this story.

When Erik was a little boy whenever he went to visit his Grandma for the weekend he would always see Emma at church on Sunday.

Then when his Grandma remarried 4 years ago, they slow danced at her reception. It was Emma’s first dance, ever.

Then last year when Erik’s Grandma passed away, he met Emma again, this time at Grandma’s funeral. However, this meeting turned into another, and then another. They’ve both always known they’re were just meant to be.

Now they’re engaged and I’m confident his Grandma is just smiling away- mostly with a mischevious grin- because she knows she had quite the hand in making sure these two came together.

How do I know his Grandma is so proud and happy? Because his Grandma was my Mom.

At their wedding this fall her Emma’s Dad surprised her with a iPhone video of their first dance at my Mom’s wedding.  The smile on Emma’s face 4 years ago was almost as big as her smile her entire day.  I (as per usual) cried my eyes out because there is nothing in this world then better then love.
