So Gini & Bryan and I were all set to meet for their engagement session in Edmonton. I had scouted out locations and they drove up from Calgary and got all prettied up only to get rained out in 4 degree weather. After hitting up some cherry blossoms (Gini’s favourite!) we decided it was to cold to continue. Only problem was finding a time to meet up again. Finally we figured out we could meet in my home town of Innisfail on a weeknight (conveniently located 1/2 way for both of us). The rain ended up being a blessing in disguise since our night out in Innisfail was gorgeous. I even took them to Innisfail’s famous drive through- D&R. If you ever need to stop for a milkshake break on a drive down highway 2, I highly recommend it. Small towns just have that charm that just can’t be duplicated.
Thanks for two great nights. I had so much fun hanging out with you both (and thanks for the milkshake-mmmm- licorice flavour!)
On a funny side note while we were shooting in a cow pasture when Gini announced that she had never actually seen a cow pattie. I had a good laugh over that and told her that the cows wouldn’t bother us. Gini and Bryan were sitting pretty in the grass while I was oogling over the evening light when Gini shrieks that the cows are stampeding towards us. I tell them not to worry when all of a sudden the cows are really running over- picking up dust like out of an old western movie. I tell you, I have NEVER seen a girl in 4 inch heel run across a field full of cow patties and gopher holes so fast!!! I kept yelling “don’t worry!! stop running!! don’t hurt yourselves!!” but they were back at the car in 20 seconds flat. You know you really have to look out for those killer cows. 🙂
Woooahhh….Love the passion in Bryan’s kiss, Mr. Suave!
The pictures turned out great you both are a beautiful couple on the inside and out, way to make the magic happen!!
