I always jump at the opportunity to photograph families in new and different locations. And when’s it is an adorable family in one of my favourite places in Alberta, I’m really jumping. It was fantastic to photograph this family in Horseshoe Canyon with it’s unreal sweeping landscapes. The kiddos both love dinosaurs and Cole was very impressive with his “ROAR” faces throughout our session. He makes one pretty cute little dinosaur if you ask me 🙂 Lila loved to get their colourful kite soaring. Kite flying in the badlands? Epic.
We spent the rest of a busy weekend in Drumheller in September checking out the tourist sites, running the Dinosaur Valley 5km race, enjoying the hotel pool and having fun running around the hoodoos. It was a great mini holiday with the Hanki’s and I’m so glad we could actually coordinate our crazy schedules to make it work.
So another ridiculously long blog post, but when you’re shooting in locations like this it’s hard to narrow it down (and it was really, really hard).
