Jessica and Moses were married on the shores of the Caribbean Sea in Punta Cana , Dominican Republic, a couple of short weeks ago. The couple and their guests stayed at the beautiful Majestic Colonial Resort which was a great place for a holiday and a wedding. We all enjoyed a week of sun and sand (well, not so much the sun part- we ended up with clouds for most of the trip, but hey, no sunburns!) and the resort was a great place to relax and enjoy time together with loved ones. The day of the wedding went by so smoothly and perfectly. Everyone was so calm and relaxed- just the way a destination wedding should be. Jessica even beat Moses to the ceremony site- don’t see that too often 🙂
I loved lots of things about this day- the kindness and easy going nature of the couple, the warmth of the day, the location and the poolside reception. Jessica and Moses incorporated lots of games into the reception which got everyone involved and laughing. Everyone got up and said a few words too- the entire night so personal and happy. Moses got a little carried away during the cake cutting and smashed some cake in Jessica’s face- but don’t worry- the Bride (and her bridesmaids!) all got him back. Overall it turned out to be the perfect day- and even the sun peaked out and spread it’s rays for us- couldn’t have gotten any better.
Thank you so much for including me in your destination wedding plans. Tim, Violet and I had an absolute blast. No better way to kick off my wedding busy season then with a great trip to the beach.
Hugs,
Kelsy
PS. I had to include one funny shot from the ceremony only because I know this bride and groom have a great sense of humour 🙂
(So yeah, another huge post. I promise they are going to be getting smaller here, there’s no way I can keep up with these monstrosities all season long, haha! Enjoy!)
These are beautiful Kelsy! I especially love the one where they are each in their own balcony. Gorgeous work as always!!
