Family Photography in Devon Alberta
I first met Tina when I did some photography for her amazing local Edmonton children’s clothing boutique Hiyo . Her daughter is an adorable model for their clothing line and she loved getting her portrait taken during our lifestyle family session in Devon, a suburb just outside of Edmonton. We utilized the beautiful river valley and Voyager Park for their session, playing near the river and getting delicious giant ice cream cones at a local stand.
We also incorporated their beautiful and cozy family home for few portraits in their favourite place. I love being able to enter clients homes to create personalized images in their own unique spots. Harper is a very talented pianist, and speaks several languages! She’s such a cool kid. I enjoyed getting to know her big personality in her own room where she felt the most comfortable. That is a great thing about lifestyle photography- we take the time and really try to photograph your family in places that you love and feel the most relaxed in. When my clients are relaxed, their images always feel more real and true to life, especially when compared to a in-studio situation. While studio photography definitely has it’s place, on-location lifestyle photography always has my heart!
We finished our session with some snuggles in the sunset, with a card game or two and lots of laughter. Can’t ask for much more than that!
