Kathleen & Andrew- Elegant Backyard Outdoor Wedding in Edmonton
Kathleen and Andrew had such an elegant backyard outdoor wedding in Edmonton, Alberta. Getting married at her childhood home by her Father was incredibly special for the bride and I loved being able to photograph their beautiful day.
Nestled amidst towering trees and blossoming flowers, Kathleen’s childhood home provided the idyllic backdrop for their wedding. The sprawling backyard, adorned with twinkling lights and delicate drapery, transformed into an ethereal sanctuary. The gentle breeze rustling through the leaves and the soft glow of sunset lent an enchanting ambiance to the proceedings, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and grand.
In the late afternoon, friends and family gathered, eagerly awaiting the couple’s heartfelt exchange of vows. A rustic wooden arch, delicately adorned with cascading blooms, framed Kathleen and Andrew as they stood hand in hand, ready to embark on their journey as life partners. The heartfelt ceremony, officiated by Kathleen’s Father, was filled with tears of joy and heartfelt laughter, leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind that these two souls were destined to be together.
As the evening progressed, the twinkling lights above illuminated the dance floor, casting a romantic glow. Kathleen and Andrew shared their first dance as a married couple, swaying to an incredible local band. Friends and family joined them, celebrating love and unity through their laughter, dance moves, and genuine affection. The magic of the night could be heard through the laughter. As the stars twinkled overhead, Kathleen and Andrew embarked on a new chapter of their lives, forever cherishing the memories of their beautiful backyard wedding.
