This spring I began offering maternity and newborn packages for my lifestyle photography clients in Edmonton. It was something I had meaning to offer for a long time, and I finally set up different packages. They’ve ended up being very popular and I’m feeling so lucky being able to document the arrival of so many little ones into loving families. There’s also the option to add in Birth Photography or a Newborn Session in the Hospital if you’re not quite ready to have your entire birth photographed.
But back to this little family. I photographed Max’s parents wedding a couple of years ago and I’ve loved them ever since. Basically they’re the best people you can meet. I was so excited to hear they were expecting a new member into their family. During their maternity session we joked about cravings, took guesses on the gender (I’d like to state that I guessed 100% boy, I was THAT confident) and talk about the excitement ahead. And then, what seemed like only days later, Max made his appearance. Of course, Max is absolutely perfect and I felt so honoured to be able snuggle him. I loved seeing how relax and confiedent Brandi and Jon were in their parenting. They seemed like old pros.
