Meaghan and Nate are getting married very soon and I’m definitely looking forward to spending more time with them. On the evening of their engagement portraits we headed out to Meaghan’s parents farm together and enjoyed a few minutes of portraits and a little time around a fire with her family. After they enjoyed some wine and marshmallows ( I’m still wondering if that’s a good combo 😉 ) we were going to head out and photograph the beautiful sunset we were blessed with. Meaghan wanted a quick pic of herself with her horse before we ventured out. Well, that didn’t quite work out as planned. Her beautiful horse galloped over and promptly stepped on her foot. A bucket of ice and a trip to the er to x-ray her 5-times-the-normal-size foot later we still didn’t have pictures sunset but we did get some interesting storytelling images 🙂 . I’m very very grateful that her foot ended up not being broken. I will say the Meaghan is the toughest girl I’ve met and Nate is a wonderful compassionate fiancee. You could definitely see how much concern and love he has for her through thick and thin.
Here’s hoping we another beautiful day for your weddding- minus any sort of injuries, of course.
