Nathaniel- Edmonton Lifestyle Photography

April 29, 2013

There are quite a few reasons why I loved this little family. First off, they brought me some yummy treats (yeah, I’m easy to win over with food) and secondly they weren’t going to reschedule their session for anything.  Which was good, because I don’t get to the Calgary area too often and I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to photograph Nathaniel on his 6 month birthday. So our session ended up being a little bit cold (or a lot cold, depending on where you are from) but we went ahead anyway. We ended up having one of the quickest shoots  in the history of family  portrait shoots, but the beautiful hoar frost made it entirely worth it. Little Nat had adorablely squishy cheeks and the sweetest little smile…not that we saw it often, but hey, at minus 15c I’m not smiling too often either 🙂

Thanks again for being fearless clients and braving the elements with me. I may have to start offering more winter sessions because I really think these images are something fun and a little different then the typical summery day shoot. And just so Canadian of us.

Hugs,

Kelsy
