Winter Lifestyle Family Session in Edmonton
The first time I photographed this Edmonton family it was for their engagement session years ago. Fast forward to the present, this lovely couple now has two beautiful children who have grown up before my eyes (and camera!).
These kids were the absolute cutest out in the snow! Many people hesitate to book photography in winter, but these sessions always end up being some of my favourite. The cool tones, the freshly fallen snow landing on their hair and eyelashes. It’s so pretty and deserves to be documented! One of my favourite things to do during winter photography sessions is to get the kids having fun- snowball fights, shaking trees to get covered in falling snow, jumping in giant piles of snow up to your waist! Making the most out of outdoor family sessions always involves a lot of play! Plus the childhood wonder and magic of winter will never get old…
