That’s right! She’s going to be a big sister come February! We are very very excited!!! I could hardly wait to share the news but now that first trimester has passed I’m very happy to let all my clients and friends know that I haven’t been binging on donuts- just growing a baby 😉 Hopefully this explains a bit of my tardiness in keeping my blog up to date and since it’s been hard basically just keeping my head on straight. I’ve been sick sick sick! I’m hoping it starts to pass that my days of throwing up between ceremony and portraits are over and my nights of falling asleep at 8pm (instead of working to my gigantic to do list) are over! I feel extremely blessed to be having another little one, so I’ve tried to not be a complainer (not sure if Tim would agree-haha) – I really am just thrilled and keep thinking each bout of nausea is just growing a healthy wee one 🙂
There will be lots and lots of new stuff on the blog in the next few weeks, so keep on checking back for families, newborns, and lots of weddings- maybe even another personal post or two.
I’ve known Iris and Anthony since I met them at a Christmas party at my sisters home years ago. Â I remember seeing Iris across the room and thinking how stunningly beautiful she was and how I would love to photograph her someday. I was so happy they selected me to be their wedding photographer for…
The Mah Family are the beautiful people behind Nomiya Restaurants in Edmonton and some of the most genuine people you could meet. I have loved getting to know them over the last few years while photographing their family and popping into their restaurants for some amazing sushi. Â I was able to photograph their family in…
One year ago we were in Ireland celebrating the wedding of Kristina and John. Â I still feel incredibly lucky to have been apart of such a magical wedding trip. I have to say “wedding trip” instead of “wedding day”, because the hospitality of the John’s Irish family lasted days. From the wedding Rehearsal Dinner at…
Quite simply, the Frost Family is  adorable. Their daughter was a wee baby last time I photographed them and it honestly feels like yesterday.  How can time be passing so quickly? I’m going to blink my eyes and Christmas will be here too, sigh. It was a teeny bit chilly the day we met for…
Janelle and Joe were married in February- the same week as I had my daughter, Maeve. So unfortunately I was unable to photograph their wedding… but we had fantastic back up photographers in place-  Julie James from JDS Design and Blake Loates from Blake Loates Photography were both there to shoot for me.  And as you…
Ahhhh, the beautiful day that was Amanda & Mark’s. I’m happy just thinking back to it. A little bit of rain in the morning for good luck, a bit of sunshine and heat in the afternoon for pictures and a whole a lot fun in the evening. Mark’s Mother married them in a beautiful ceremony…
