Holly and Bill are getting married in TWO (!!) days and I can’t wait to capture the day as it unfolds. In honour of the impending nuptials I thought I’d share a mini (yes, super mini session- I think we were out shooting for 10 minutes tops, maybe less) session I shot on our last night in Honudras earlier this year. I had been eyeing up these fishing boats for a couple of days- just waiting for an evening that they were all left out by the stream after the day’s catch. Luckily it all worked out and I was able to steal Holly and Bill away from dinner with their family on the beach in Honduras. It’s a small joy for me to shoot in unique locations. Although being a photographer in Edmonton is definitely an adventure, shooting in new countries is always a dream. I would love to photograph a wedding in Honduras during our next trip to Central America- I can’t help but drive down the Honduran country roads and imagine brides (or families) in different locations- I think that’s just the photographer in me, always seeing sights as photographic locations. I really can’t turn that part of my brain off- even while on holiday.
Happy Wedding Day Holly and Bill. I can’t wait to see it come together on Saturday.
xoxoxo,
Kelsy
