Last week I was lucky enough to visit my family who live just outside of Houston, TX. We had a ton of fun together- Sea World, visiting the Alamo, eating Mexican Food and visiting some alligator swamps. We even did in impromptu family session while at these swamps. There were alligators everywhere- just mere feet away from the walking trail with no fences or anything of the sort. I could have reached out petted the ones that were resting by the foot path. It was a bit creepy for me- all I could think about was a alligator jumping up and grabbing the stroller taking Violet with him- lol. The paranoia of a new mom. All-in-all in was a great trip and I’m happy to share a part of it with you.

Our Trip to Africa
Violet and I made the 30 hour long journey to Cape Town in January. We visited friends, enjoyed the sunshine, brushed up on our South African History and spent some time with animals. I’m sharing some of my favourites snapshots from our trip. Most of the time I was too busy enjoying myself to take…
Belanger Girls- Edmonton Lifestyle Photography
I was first treated to meeting the Belanger Girls last fall and instantly loved them. This year their mom had a vision for their shoot- 70’s vintage, with a glowy relaxed feel and, of course, with lots of love and peace. She really wanted an old Volkswagen for the images but wasn’t sure if we…
