That’s right! She’s going to be a big sister come February! We are very very excited!!! I could hardly wait to share the news but now that first trimester has passed I’m very happy to let all my clients and friends know that I haven’t been binging on donuts- just growing a baby 😉 Hopefully this explains a bit of my tardiness in keeping my blog up to date and since it’s been hard basically just keeping my head on straight. I’ve been sick sick sick! I’m hoping it starts to pass that my days of throwing up between ceremony and portraits are over and my nights of falling asleep at 8pm (instead of working to my gigantic to do list) are over! I feel extremely blessed to be having another little one, so I’ve tried to not be a complainer (not sure if Tim would agree-haha) – I really am just thrilled and keep thinking each bout of nausea is just growing a healthy wee one 🙂
There will be lots and lots of new stuff on the blog in the next few weeks, so keep on checking back for families, newborns, and lots of weddings- maybe even another personal post or two.

First of all, I seriously love Quinn’s parents. I photographed their wedding a year ago and I still get warm fuzzies when I think about it. And now I’m smitten with little Quinn. She’s tiny and  has those little round cheeks you just want to touch. And her kissable lips are beyond perfect. I loved…
This frosty morning was perfectly spent with my talented friend Andrea.  There’s not much I love more in nature then a beautiful coat of frost on trees and grasses. It’s almost magical. Frost in April is a bit rare and we lucked out having a snowy morning with only a week to go in her pregnancy….
After recently becoming engaged Kristen and Rob are beginning to plan their destination wedding for 2012 . How exciting to be looking through brochures and finding the perfect sunny spot to get married. This is such an exciting time for them and I was very lucky to be able to capture some of their happiness and…
One of my favourite returning families  came back for another year of family portraits. We wanted a session uniquely them, so I joined them on a typical family outing- boating up the river and making some campfire treats.  We ended up with one of my favourite sessions of the year.  Really though- the cutest sisters, a…
