Edmonton Family Portraits at an Apple Orchard<\/strong><\/p>\n

This family session was nothing short of a dream. I had the pleasure of spending a lovely warm summer evening with this sweet family of five. We wandered through the apple orchard, played amongst the trees, and \u00a0picked apples of course! This session couldn’t have turned out more perfectly. The sky was clear and the evening light was absolutely gorgeous. Golden hour is a classic time of day to shoot for photographers and I always encourage my families to book a little later if possible to capture that glowing light. It’s harder in the springtime with our late sunsets, but worth every minute.<\/p>\n

The apple orchard was the perfect location for this family. With three busy littles, picking apples was an amazing way to keep them engaged and having fun during the session. The apple orchard offered plenty of space for the kids to run around, plus the apples picked make the perfect fresh and healthy snack- which they definitely enjoyed! \u00a0Lifestyle photography sessions are all about choosing an activity that integrates play and allows kids just be themselves! The moments captured are always more natural and relaxed. We get lots of personality and without the pressure of too much posing and “cheesing”.<\/p>\n

Additionally, this family’s adorable dog was included in their portraits. I just love it was my clients bring their pets to their session. \u00a0 Dogs are such precious members of our families and definitely deserve to be included in all of our family portraits.<\/p>\n
