I love photographing the K family in their beautiful, brand new home to celebrate their 10th anniversary. They&#8217;ve had a busy and wonderful ten years together since I photographed their <a href=\"https:\/\/knphoto.ca\/stagingkassey-alex-edmonton-wedding-photographers\/\">wedding<\/a>. Since that special day, they&#8217;ve welcomed two baby girls that I&#8217;ve also had the privilege to photograph. From their engagement portraits, their wedding day,  in-home newborn photography, to now a busy family of 4, I have been so grateful they&#8217;ve called on me to document so many important life milestones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Kassey emailed me to discuss our session together she definitely had a vibe she was going for. Natural, gorgeous, candid images of her two girls at home. They wanted to utilize the parks surrounding their home and be able to show off some of their new favourite places in the neighbourhood. We packed a picnic, played some games and had a lovely June evening together. We created a wonderful session together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Family Photography doesn&#8217;t need to be<a href=\"https:\/\/awkwardfamilyphotos.com\/category\/photos\/the-family-portrait\/\"> stuffy<\/a>. You don&#8217;t need to dress formally, you don&#8217;t need to pose on giant rocks. You can just be yourselves! If you&#8217;re loud, stay loud! If your family enjoys quiet evenings at home playing board games, let&#8217;s do that. I want to give your family a perfect representation of you who you, preserved are in photographs.  We&#8217;ll still get beautiful portraits to hang on your walls, but we will also get the little moments I know you&#8217;ll love looking back on as your children grow up. There is no better time than the present to invest in family lifestyle photographing.
