If rain on your wedding day produces good luck then Terri and David should be drenched in a windfall of happiness. It rained and then rained some more all day long. Sometimes when I show up before a wedding where everyone knows the forecast the ambiance can be a little gloomy. This was not the case at all for Terri and David. The house was full of excitement and anticipation- you would have hardly known it was pouring outside. This was particularly surprising for me considering the wedding was supposed to be all outside in their gorgeous backyard. Everything got moved indoors and plans were all changed for the day. But you still couldn’t wipe the nervous smile off David’s face or feel any disappointed in Terri’s voice. They were so happy to be getting married that day- no matter what the conditions were or where it took place. I also thought they’d be disappointed in rainy day pictures- out in the very small town of Stony Plain there are no “indoor locations”. But they just laughed and brought their amazing attitudes with them as we shot in areas with overhangs, under bridges and under umbrellas. Nothing phased them all day- not the cold or the wetness. I was so happy to be in the presence of them both- All day Terri and David were so obviously happy and relaxed it completely wore off on me. I left the wedding feeling like I had just attended the special day of a family member.
Although Terri and David look like they are in their 20’s they have a baseball team (9!) of grandchildren. Not only are they totally good looking and stylin’ grandparents they are fanastic dancers too 🙂 They got out on the dance floor with each of their grandchildren and danced the night away. How cool would it be to have grandparents like that?
I hope you are having a great time cruising the Mediterranean. I’m sure it’s amazing.
Hugs,
Kelsy
Oh my goodness, they hardly look old enough to have grandchildren, let alone 9! Beautiful couple and beautiful pictures!
